Susan Gerard built out Gerard Marketing Group fully in 2013 after 20 years of experience working at big-name advertising agencies and on the client side managing marketing for small businesses and start-ups. She holds a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in Graphic Arts from the University of Missouri, Columbia. She resides in St. Louis, MO with her husband and three kids. She runs her company from her home office and purposefully has built a 100% virtual team who all also do the same.

Drew Weckbach / SPRY Analytics    

Drew is tax strategist and financial planning professional in St. Louis. He parlayed his experience working with high net worth retirees, in-depth knowledge of the financial technology landscape, and a Masters in Taxation into a becoming a partner with SPRY Analytics.

Spry Analytics is developing an application to optimize financial assets during retirement. Our proprietary algorithm details where a retiree should withdraw funds from in a given year over the course of their 20+ year retirement. The algorithm formulates the optimal withdrawal pattern in conjunction with defined income streams for each unique retiree.

Drew utilizes his technical skills to run a Fee-Only Financial planning firm, Scaling Independence, specializing in asset accumulators. He, also, is a contractor for the Department of Defense providing Military Service Members financial guidance with no strings attached.

Spark! provides high school students in the Parkway School District with dynamic, immersion-based student learning experiences to ensure students can understand and respond to an ever-changing world. To accomplish this task, the Parkway School District will actively engage and work collaboratively with business partners, community service and educational leaders to design and develop mutually beneficial learning experiences based on the interests of students and stakeholders.

Spark! serves students from Parkway North, Parkway South, Parkway West, Parkway Central and Fern Ridge High Schools. Spark! is an example of how business, community and public education can partner to produce personalized learning experiences that educate the workforce of the future, especially in high skill, high demand jobs.
